Become a certified Evidence-based Meaning-centered Practitioner (EMCP), taught via live online sessions by the internationally renowned therapist and researcher Dr Joel Vos PhD MSc MA FHEA EMCP CPsychol. Develop practical skills based on the latest research on how to effectively help people live a meaningful life. Based on the best-selling book ‘Meaning in life: an evidence-based handbook for practitioners’.
Why become an Evidence-based Meaning-Centered Practitioner (EMCP)?
What is my personal meaning in life? How can I live life to the fullest? How do I make decisions? How can I still find meaning when I'm going through stressful periods? There is nothing wrong, but it just feels as if I am stuck in my grey daily life and that I am muddling through life; how can I live a more fulfilling and satisfying life? And most importantly: how do I do this practically, finding meaning in my daily life?Everyone asks themselves questions like these at times. Although we do not always say these questions aloud. Would it not be great if we could get some professional help with these meaning-centered questions?
This course will not only help you find your own answers to these questions...
...but also train you to help others with such questions. This course will lead to a Certificate in Evidence-based Meaning-Centered Practitioner (EMCP). An EMCP practitioner offers professional guidance to help clients live a meaningful and satisfying life despite the challenges and stress that they may be experiencing in their life. In their work with clients, an EMCP practitioner uses their rigorous knowledge about meaning in life and their large toolkit with practical helping skills. Their knowledge and skills are based on the latest research on how to help individuals find their own meaning in life (this training differs from countless other examples of unscientific training institutes, cults or self-idolising gurus on meaning in life). The main focus is on ‘how to do it’, grounded in rigorous research on how to effectively help clients.
This training will be provided by a leading authority and therapist...
...in meaning-centered therapies, Dr Joel Vos PhD MSc MA FHEA EMCP CPsychol. Dr Vos is the author of the highly influential book ‘Meaning in life: an evidence-based handbook for practitioners’, which is used in psychotherapy training and universities across the globe. This training gives more specific guidance and practical tips and tricks on finding meaning in life than the more generic IMEC certificate in Evidence-based Existential Practitioner (EEP); although both trainings can be followed independently, it is highly recommended to do both courses to get a complete evidence-based toolkit as practitioner.
